Click on the various tabs to see the different ways CPCA Advocates fights on your behalf.

Legislative Priorities

Advocates uses legislation to help create new laws, change existing laws, and prevent harmful changes that would affect CHCs statewide.

Budget Priorities

Organizations cannot successfully advocate for issues without engaging in effective budget advocacy. Advocates successfully navigates this process to secure funding for CHCs and its patients.

Regulatory and Administrative Priorities

Much of the advocacy we engage in happens at the Department, Agency, and Administration level. Once legislation is passed, ensuring successful implementation is crucial for our CHCs and patients.

Initiatives

When our advocacy efforts at the Legislature and administrative level have been exhausted or unsuccessful, using the constitutionally protected initiative process to create or change laws to make constitutional amendments.
