Legislators Confirmed for Kick-Off Webinar
Assemblywoman Aguiar-Curry & Assemblymember Gipson
We are excited that Assemblywoman Cecilia Aguiar-Curry and Assemblymember Mike Gipson will be joining our Day at the Capitol Kick-Off Webinar on Tuesday, May 25th at 9:00 am. They will be kicking us off ahead of our 3-day advocacy program as we engage and advocate for our 2021 State Budget and Policy priorities.
**Please reach out to your local consortia for a schedule of virtual legislative visits.
This virtual event is an important opportunity to speak with elected officials who play a crucial role in driving legislation and developing the state’s budget and educate them on the significant role of California’s Community Health Centers (CHCs).
Virtual Advocacy & Legislative Meetings
This 3-day advocacy event will consist of virtual meetings with key elected officials and/or their staff. You will work with your regional consortium to tell your story and share information about CHCs budget and legislative priorities. In addition, each day you will have the opportunity to engage in a 1-hour social media campaign (Capitol Power Hour) to reinforce your message to electeds and educate the public about the important role CHCs play in their communities.
Please Register for Day at the Capitol by May 14, 2021
to register for Virtual Day at the Capitol 2021. Registering will ensure that you receive invites to both the Prep Webinar and the Kick-off Webinar, along with the materials to ensure that you are prepared for your virtual meetings with electeds.
