CaliforniaHealth+ Advocates Political Endorsements for 2018

CaliforniaHealth+ Advocates is a non-profit that advocates on behalf of California’s 1,300 health centers that provide care to 6.5 million Californians. CaliforniaHealth+ Advocates endorses champions that fight to improve access to health care for all Californians.

Focused on both candidates running for re-election and those in open seats of the state legislature, we offered every legislator eligible for re-election in 2018 the opportunity to fill out a questionnaire to share with us their priorities, their thoughts on community health centers, and issues relating to healthcare.  For new candidates, in-person interviews were conducted throughout the state and included individuals who are familiar with health centers and the issues of greatest import in those regions. The process has produced a strong and well-vetted list of community health center champions worthy of the CaliforniaHealth+ Advocates endorsement.

The following is a list of candidates endorsed by CaliforniaHealth+ Advocates who won the election.
